We are a couple of potters who have been working in the craft for over 30 years each. Still learning the magic that clay has to discover, we are passionate about creating functional, fun, and quirky pieces that are one-of-a-kind from our home/studio in sunny Marlborough.

Using a variety of techniques, including hand-building, wheel-throwing, and glazing to create our pieces, often with our own or locally sourced clay, we are always challenging shape, form, colour and patterns to keep our range fresh and unique.

It is our hope that our pieces will bring a smile to your face and make your life a little bit more special.

Our Process

The making process begins by selecting the perfect clay for each piece. We then hand-build or wheel-throw the piece into shape. Once the piece is formed, we let it dry completely before decorating each individual piece. They are then fired once, glazed and fired again to high temperatures ranging from 1180-1220 deg C. If the work needs a bit of bling with real gold or a vintage decal we also need to put it into a 3rd or 4th firing before finishing.
